Bantam New Hampshires

Or “Edgar’s”, as they are affectionately known around here as we carry on Edgar Mongolds legacy.

The facts:

These birds are easy keepers - sustainable - dual purpose.

The pullets lay their first egg around 5 months and cockerels are filled out enough to butcher around 4-5 months.

At just a few lbs these bantams are great for the littlest exhibitors but the completixty of their color variation also makes them a fun project for even the most seasoned poultry enthusiasts!
