Brown Leghorns
This is a popular breed of chicken known for their prolific egg-laying abilities, active nature, and distinctive brown plumage with striking patterns. They are a single-comb, clean-legged variety, with the males exhibiting a vibrant orange-red head and hackles, and the females featuring a beautiful mix of brown and salmon.
These birds are exhibited in the Mediterranean class in an open show, and can be shown in 4-H in a breeding pen as well as in a production pen if you are lucky enough to get the right amount of males/females to exhibit.
